that's my little lily in the pic with me ... i also have two boys that just entered this world, a surfer husband ken, and a crazy corgi named laniakea. they keep me sane and my photography fresh ... i'm on my toes at home and at work.

so happy. let’s celebrate.
courtney keim | new jersey family photographer

so i’m back. new blog. updated website. new q&a feature. new additions to my family all safe and sound and finally HOME. let’s celebrate.

in honor of how happy i ami’ve decided to give away a WHOLE session. yup, the whole shebang. so let me know who you are. why you read my blog. send me some more happy thoughts. you’ll get a mini-session and the WHOLE session on disc. just because i’m feeling happy. well, that and i’m waiting for my little boys to wake from their slumber to feed.

Hi Courtney! I went to school with your husband. Your pics are gorgeous!! We live in a Philly suburb but my family has a place in Brigantine so we are in your neck of the woods all the time. My husband and I do some photography for fun (he’s better than me);)

Why I am happy admist this snow: watching my daughter drink hot chocolate, endless hours of playing little people and listening to makin music cd’s, movie night with my husband . . . I guess just the slow pace you are forced to do.

Hi Courtney, I know about your blog because as you know I am a very satisfied past customer. I am so happy about all the snow this year because it has given me the chance to be a kid again w/my 8yr old. We have been sledding more time than I could count this year and each time we do we share a genuine smile between us.

I’m loving every inch of the snow this winter! This is my youngest son’s first winter and the fact that it is record breaking makes it all that more memorable! I also can’t help but get excited about the snow when my other two boys get excited…it’s so contagious!

Hey Court! So happy to hear the boys are home safe and sound…looking cuter than ever! Why do I read your blog? I’ve followed you since “The Nest” days. I read all about your pregnancy with Lily and have followed you since the beginning of your photography days. You are AWESOME! I envy you. Why am I happy admidst all this snow? Easy. Wow. Miss Maren is gorgeous!!! Congrats on the boys and how they are home and healthy.
Why am I happy in all this snow? Well, 1) I absolutely love snow. The more the better!We love to ski, ice skate, snowboard all of it! 2) my kids get to play in it! And I get the pleasure of watching them experience the newness of it all. My 2 yr old is having her first time playing in snow-making angels, snowmen, and snowballs! 3) its simple, but in these very troubled times we all have our health. All 5 of us, including the dogs. And our parents and that makes us very blessed. I have a good friend who is fighting for her life and it makes you stop and say thank you for the things we take for granted.

technically my boden is not a newborn. but honestly, he weighs less than most newborns, sleeps 24/7 and acts like one … plus, i lost out on his first month+ of life … so we’ll call him my newborn.
